Queens Award 2020

We are thrilled to receive The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category for a second time as a recognition for our consistent growth since 2007.

Béatrice created the first charm bracelet in 2007 at her kitchen table in Fulham. Merci Maman was born from the idea of cherishing special moments with uniquely personalised gifts to celebrate motherhood and the special bond between a mother and her child.

In 2011, we moved into our first office in Fulham, London. Mélanie, Béatrice, Clémence and Dani engraved, made, and beautifully packed all orders placed through the UK website. Since opening in London, we now also have dedicated teams for our French, German, Spanish and Italian customers!

In 2014, the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted wearing a Merci Maman necklace after the birth of Prince George. Hand engraved with Prince George’s name and date of birth, we couldn’t imagine a better ambassador for Merci Maman and we’ve aptly named this design The Duchess Necklace.

In 2017, we were awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category for the first time! This is one of the highest accolades for businesses in the UK and our founders were presented with the award at Buckingham Palace by Queen Elizabeth II. That same year we celebrated our 10th anniversary!

Today, Merci Maman is a team of 40 located in our London, Paris and Berlin studios. From our first bracelet to now, we take care in every step of our process. Each piece of Merci Maman jewellery is engraved by hand, made with meaning and sent to you with love no matter where you are in the world.
