Summer Holiday Activities for the Whole Family
Strawberry Picking
In the UK summer is synonymous with strawberry picking. A great day out for the whole family, strawberry picking can be heaps of fun. Whilst there are multiple locations that you could choose for your strawberry picking adventures, we recommend Garsons Farm, located between Surrey and London. Alongside strawberries they offer an assortment of currants, cherries, and sunflowers, as well as plenty of veg options. Whilst you do need to pre book your visit, tickets are reasonably affordable at £4 per adult and £1 per child.

Camping
Camping can be a great way to encourage the children to explore the outdoors. With over 100 miles of woodland to explore, there is plenty of room for the whole family to roam free at Hollands Wood campsite located in New Forest. Plus if you are looking for a family day out, Paulton’s Park Theme Park is just a 20 minute drive from the campsite!

Children’s Garden at Kew Gardens
Did you know that Kew Gardens has a huge Children’s Garden? Specifically designed for 2 to 12 year olds the garden measures at a whopping 10,000 square metres. That’s equivalent to 40 tennis courts! More than 100 trees are scattered over the landscape. And at the heart of the garden lies a 4m high canopy walk wrapped around a 200-year-old oak tree. Book a free play session for your child to guarantee a place if you are planning on visiting.

Outdoor Cinema Experience
With over 150 screenings to choose from at over 40 different venues across the country, the Luna cinema is a perfect way to enjoy a warm summer night. There are loads of great kid-friendly options such as Spiderman: No Way Home, The Greatest Showman, and even Harry Potter! Click here to find a showing near you.

We hope you all have a lovely Summer holiday break and that you have time to refresh and reset!
